Our Military Battery Solar Charger allows you to recharge compatible BB and UB-series lithium ion, nickel metal hydride (NiMH), and NiCad batteries. We favor the BB2590 lithium ion battery because of its lighter weight and lower self-discharge rate. This system is the most powerful and fastest solar charging system available for the BB2590 battery and includes the most efficient charger and foldable solar panel available.

In the presence of peak sunshine, and using this system, the typical complete solar recharge time for one BB2590 battery is 3 hours, to 85% charged is 2 hours, and to 100% charged from a 24-volt DC HumVee NATO plug-in is 2.5 hours, and can recharge a BB390 NiMH battery from empty to full in approximately 3 hours. Using two or more Y-connector cables plus an assortment of available optional accessories, one can set up a network of electronic devices simultaneously according to one's needs in the field.
