This Portable Solar Power System can be carried during events where high power, high energy density, and minimal weight are critical.  The system can provide power for a variety of portable electronic devices that collectively require 12 volts DC up to 100 amps/1250 watts, 120 volts AC up to 1250 watts, and can recharge itself in sunlight using the included solar panels.  If the power draw of your electronic device is 200 watts, the battery will last 6.4 hours, in the absence of incoming solar power, before it must be recharged.  The system is controlled by a 120-amp main circuit breaker that also acts as a main on-off switch.  The battery assembly, protective circuitry boards, solar charge controller, power inverter, battery monitor, wiring, power distribution, breaker block, and accessories are housed inside a waterproof, dustproof, crushproof protective hard case. The solar panels and AC charger remain outside of the hard case. 12-volt DC power is accessible via two female cigarette lighter sockets and a pair of remote battery terminals, all of which are implanted in the walls of the hard case.  Each cigarette lighter socket is protected against over-current by a 15-amp circuit breaker.

LFP100 includes: Battery - a rechargeable, 12.8-volt, 100 amp-hour lithium iron phosphate battery pack that stores 1280 watt-hours of energy, and that will tolerate 3000 discharge-charge cycles.  Protective circuitry boards perform a balancing function on the individual cells of the battery.  The battery can be charged directly from the solar panels using the solar charge controller and custom connector cables, or from the included smart, 20-amp, 100-240VAC-powered charger for when the grid is available; Solar panels – two CE, FCC, and Std MIL 810F-certified, foldable 62-watt units in green jungle camouflage or tri-color desert camouflage that weigh 3.1 pounds each, that are connected in parallel by a Y-connector, and that will require approximately 16-17 hours of peak sunlight to completely recharge the battery if it is depleted.  The dimensions of each solar panel in inches are 52.5 x 30 when deployed, and 14.5 x 8.5 x 1.4 when folded.  The solar power input adapter is implanted into the side wall of the hard case; Solar Charge Controller – sophisticated, programmable 15-amp unit that uses MPPT (maximum power point technology) to accelerate solar charging of the battery, comes with LED's that indicate a rough state of charge of the battery, and whether or not the battery is charging, and that has data download capability.  The charge controller is protected against over-current by a 25-amp circuit breaker; Battery monitor - sophisticated device that provides digital LED readouts of battery voltage, charging and discharging data, time-to-go information, and other critical information;  Case – ATA 300, IP67, STANAG 4280, and DS 81-41 approved, waterproof, dust-proof, and crush-proof hard case in black that measures 21.46 x 13.78 x 9.05 inches in external dimensions (HPRC 2550W);  Power Inverter - 1250-watt continuous/3500-watt surge, 12VDC to 120VAC, modified sine wave unit that has two AC receptacles, and that is protected against over-current by a 120-amp circuit breaker;  AC-powered battery charger - 20-amp unit that is configured specifically for 12.8-volt LFP battery packs, and that will recharge the battery from empty to full in approximately 5.5-6 hours.

The weight of the system, not including the solar panels and AC charger, is 60 pounds.  The AC charger weighs 5 pounds.  The two solar panels and cables weigh approximately 7 pounds.
