     This system will deliver a maximum of 120 watts/10 amps of 12-volt DC power to the cigarette lighter socket (limited by the 10-amp circuit breaker), a maximum of 90 watts of 120-volt AC power to the inverter (limited by the inverter), and is wired and protected accordingly.  If the power draw of your electronic device is 40 watts, the battery will last approximately 3.5 hours in the absence of incoming solar power before it needs to be recharged, shorter if the power draw is more.  If the power draw via the cigarette lighter socket exceeds 120 watts/10-amps, the circuit breaker will interrupt the circuit, and will need to be re-set by turning the switch back to the ON position.

     The battery, solar charge controller, inverter, wiring, and accessories are housed in a durable bag that can be carried by a handle.  The solar panel remains outside of the bag.  Portable Solar Power Unit - Photography 2 comes with: Bag: military mechanic's tool bag in desert camouflage.  Battery: 14 amp-hour (168 watt-hours) adsorbed glass mat, sealed lead acid.  Solar charge controller: 6-amp unit that is protected against over-current by a 10-amp circuit breaker, and that has a continuous baseline consumption of 6-10 milliamps.  When the system is not to be used, or is to be stored for a prolonged period of time, the circuit breaker should be switched to the OFF position.  This will remove power from the charge controller, and will prevent excessive drainage of, and damage to the battery.  In order to solar charge the battery or use the system, the circuit breaker must be turned to the ON position.  Power inverter: continuous 90-watt, 12VDC to 120VAC/60 Hz, modified sine wave unit.  Solar panel: 33-watt foldable unit that will require 5-6 hours of peak sunlight to recharge the battery.  An 8-foot extension cable that connects the solar panel to the solar charge controller is included.

     The system weighs 18.5 pounds.
